Researchers Begin Study On Prescription & Dietary Supplement Combination
Boston, MA-based Harvard Medical School researchers are conducting a study that combines SAM-e with prescription antidepressants for patients with partial or no response to a standard course of prescription drug antidepressant treatments. The study, which is the first of its kind, was recently started at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, and will combine SAM-e with prescription drugs such as Prozac, Paxil, Effexor, Celexa and Zoloft among patients with major depressive disorder.
